Obama says Egypt isn't an ally...

But good news, he doesn't consider them an enemy either. Geez this guy is amazing, Egypt has been an ally since the late 80's, but in Empty chair's (Obama's new nickname) defense he probably had a bad case of the munchies back then so his focus was most likely on Doritos and twinkies annnnd we now know he doesn't go to his morning briefings, so how was he supposed to know that?! I mean, with all the golf, campaining and talk shows, you really think he has time for petty foreign details like who wants to kill us and who doesn't?
In a article from The Blaze: ..."Additionally, during the Telemundo interview, Obama discussed the notion that the U.S. is in a waiting and assessment period, as the country waits to see what Egypt’s response to the U.S. embassy attack will be. The president also reiterated his belief that the nation’s leaders need to protect U.S. interests there and that he’s hopeful that the Egyptian government, led by President Mohammed Morsi, will respond in a manner that is favorable to the American government." Sissy lala liberal reacts to Scott Walker victory.

I honestly can't think of too many things that could be more embarrassing. You get all of a minute to tell America what you think of the out come of an important election in your state that didn't go the way you had hoped. But now's your chance to show not only Wisconsin voters why they were wrong but to tell America exactly how big of an effin deal this was (sorry, I channeled Biden for a second), so what do you do? You obviously man up... and cry like a little girl... Well if their campaigning was anything like this poor sap's speech, it's easy to see why they lost. If by "the end of the US as we know it", he means Union thugs won't run the country anymore, then I hope he's right.

MSNBC questions whether or not fallen soldiers should be called heroes

When asked why I don't like MSNBC, this is just one of the many responses I can give.

From The Blaze:  "MSNBC is not known as a network that sympathizes with the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan, but this Memorial Day weekend, rather than put aside their political differences to salute our men and women in uniform, a panel on Chris Hayes’ show instead engaged in a debate over how to refer to our fallen soldiers.
Specifically, the panel debated over using words like “hero” because– in their words– the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan aren’t “worthy” causes."...

"After reassuring that there is honor and valor in the military, Goldberg said: “It’s more just that, it’s a way of ennobling sacrifices that have a lot of nobility for the individual, but to say that someone kind of died heroically suggests that they died worthily, or that they died in the pursuit of a worthy endeavor…” [Emphasis added]"

Biden refers to Mitt as President Romney. Biden is obviously a man ahead of the times.

Not only did Joegaffe (it's a play on Joseph, I know it's a stretch but just go with it)refer to Mitt as the president but he referred to Obama as President Clinton. In other news Michelle Obama has made sure there are no cigars within a 20 mile radius of the White House...

From The Blaze: "During an interview with David Gregory on “Meet The Press,” Biden’s mind seemed otherwise occupied when it came to consistently and correctly referring to who he was talking about. For example, at one point, and much to the joy of Republicans, he referred to Mitt Romney as “President Romney.” But as if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, he couldn‘t seem to keep his own boss’s name straight: he also referred to Barack Obama as “President Clinton.” The Washington Free Beacon noticed it all"

Epic Fail: Me, Me, Me, Comma I, Slash More Me.

You know, I heard Incubus's Obama theme song (Megalomaniac) the other day, and I was like, wow, that's weird, because that song came out before anyone ever heard about Obama -- but then I watched the video, and there was all this Hitler imagery, so, I guess it really wasn't about Obama, which also is weird, cause if you listen to it, you'll swear it was.

And here are those empty seats he was referring to, awesome.

FBI 1 Occupy 0

So some Occupy leaders were apparently named as suspects in a plot to blow up a bridge. Well good thing for us they suck at blowing things up just as much as they suck at life.
"The official said that during the investigation, several of the suspects repeatedly complained that the Occupy Wall Street movement, which had spread to other cities from New York, wasn't violent enough. Douglas L. Wright, 26; Brandon L. Baxter, 20; and Anthony Hayne, 35, were arrested by members of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force Monday night on charges of conspiracy and attempted use of explosive materials to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce. Also arrested were Connor C. Stevens, 20, and Joshua S. Stafford, 23. The complaint said while the group had not figured out how they would demolish the signs, according to Wright, "the signs are the most important part [of the plan] because they need to make sure everyone knows that the action was against corporate America and the financial system, and not just some random acts." "Clearly, their targets are completely aligned with those of any official Occupy movement. When the Tea Party was at its peak, Democrats and news media were quick to blame the Tea Party for any and every violent incident of protest around the country--and then some. How quick will they be to point out the roll of Democrats and even Barack Obama in pushing the Occupy movement, now breeding violence across America?" Read Breitbart Article Here

Obama's administration gets punished, jr. high style.

Obama has one of the biggest egos I have ever seen, so maybe he thought he could disrespect (and flat out lie about) the highest court in America. Well in his defense he did it once before and no one seemed to care, so why not? Well, he all but got a slap on the wrist with a ruler and made to sit in the corner. Honestly I can't imagine how embarrassing it must be to have a judge tell you, you have to write a report pretty much saying how wrong your speech was...

"Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit heard arguments in a separate Obamacare challenge in Physician Hospitals of America v. Sebelius. According to Jan Crawford at CBS News (one of the most knowledgeable attorneys among the journalists who cover the Supreme Court), Judge Jerry Smith asked the Department of Justice lawyer arguing the case--Dana Lydia Kaersvang--whether Obama’s statement is now the official position of the United States government.

Although Kaersvang quickly admitted that Marbury and 200 years of unbroken precedent clearly hold that courts have the power to strike down Obamacare, Smith wanted it in writing. So the three-judge panel hearing this appeal--Smith, Emilio Garza, and Leslie Southwick (all three are excellent judges, and Smith is also a fine gentleman to boot)--issued an order today, requiring the Justice Department to file a three-page, single-spaced letter by noon this Thursday, reaffirming that the federal government agrees that courts possess the power of judicial review."

Oh Joe...

When talking about the Bin Laden raid Joe Biden said, “You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain. We never had more than a 48 percent probability that he was there.”

Someone needs to tell him about a little known thing called D-day... Well and hundreds of other military "plans"... And they say Palin is stupid.

not awesome.

In this story, America is the Costa Concordia, and whoever said no to the XL Pipeline is Francesco Schettino. Gots to love me some $3.98 a gallon gas!!! Oh yes.

via HotAir Last month we discussed the rather alarming news that Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper was planning a trip to China to discuss possible natural resources deals with the economic superpower. It seemed no coincidence that the trip was announced close on the heels of Barack Obama’s decision to kick the can down the road on the Keystone XL pipeline yet again. But at that time, I retained some hope that perhaps this was just a warning siren to Obama which would remind him that Canada had plenty of other options should we decide not to do business with them.

Apparently Harper hasn’t cared much for what he’s been hearing out of Washington and found a very willing ear across the Pacific because it seems that some deals have been struck already.

China and Canada declared Thursday that bilateral relations have reached “a new level” following a series of multibillion-dollar trade and business agreements to ship additional Canadian petroleum, uranium and other products to the Asian superpower.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Chinese leadership said Thursday the economic co-operation agreements — and billions of dollars in new private-sector deals — signed by the two countries over the past few days are unprecedented and will open the door to additional trade and investment.

Harper announced Thursday, following meetings with Chinese President Hu Jintao and Vice-Premier Li Keqiang, that the countries have struck an agreement that will allow Canadian uranium companies to “substantially increase exports to China.”

“We expect to see similar success stories in Canadian energy exports to China, once infrastructure is in place.”

Harper has said building pipelines to the West Coast — such as the proposed Northern Gateway oilsands pipeline and a separate one for liquefied natural gas — is a national priority as Canada looks to ship its vast resources to Asia.

This just gets better and better, doesn’t it? Not only do we have to keep an eye on the Canadians building a shorter pipeline to their western coast to ship all of their oil overseas, but now they’re going to aggressively up the ante on delivering uranium to the Chinese. Oh, I know… you probably think I’m being an old worry wort, right? I mean, China would only use the fuel for peaceful, energy production purposes and would never “lose track” of any of it, right?

Yet again we see that elections matter, and decisions coming from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. can have both immediate and long term effects not only here at home, but across the oceans as well. Harper’s deals wont be finalized until the Canadian legislature approves them, but they would be foolish indeed to turn it down with no assurances of a market in the U.S. There was never any doubt that Canada would pursue their own best economic and national interests and find a buyer for their resources. It was only a question of who would strike the right deal. And – again – I do not place any blame on Harper for this. He has to look out for Canada’s interests first, not ours. The fault here lies with the White House for playing politics with such a critical issue.

ATF: Alcohol, Tobacco and ... Firearm Smuggler?

via Daily Mail The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has been accused of allowing guns to slip across the border and fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

The allegations made by senior agent John Dodson came after it was discovered that the gun used to kill a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Mexico was first bought in a Dallas, Texas store.

Agent Dodson made his allegations to CBS News, saying that he was ordered to lets guns through during his time stationed at the ATF’s Phoenix offices.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Jaime Zapata was shot and killed in Mexico this February by a gun bought in Dallas, Texas

He said: ‘I'm boots on the ground in Phoenix, telling you we've been doing it every day since I've been here.

‘We just knew it wasn't going to end well. There's just no way it could.’

CBS also said it had a video it claims was filmed by ATF agents showing AK47s being smuggled into Mexico, while the authorities looked on.

Attorney General Eric Holder has now asked top Justice Department officials to rethink their strategy against gun traffickers along the U.S. border with Mexico after some in Congress said the current strategy endangers law enforcement officers.

It is understood the reason the weapons were allowed to be smuggled was in the hope of following them up the chain of command, leading to arrests of more senior criminals.

Wow, that's a plan that sounds just crazy enough it .... just might get hundreds of innocent people killed.

Fail of the Century

Border Agents Forced to Face Down Bullets With Bean Bags

The U.S. Border Patrol is under fire for allegedly ordering its elite, SWAT-style units to use non-lethal bean bag ammunition before responding with deadly force – even against suspects armed with high-powered semi-automatic and automatic weapons like AK-47s.

The controversy over the agency’s “bean bag” policy began in the days following the Dec. 14 killing of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and has escalated recently as more information is uncovered in the investigation of the fatal shooting.

"When the suspected aliens did not drop their weapons, two Border Patrol agents deployed ‘less than lethal' beanbags at the suspected aliens,” according to a FBI search warrant request filed in the U.S. District Court in Tuscon on Dec. 29. “At this time, at least one of the suspected aliens fired at the Border Patbrol agents. Two Border Patrol agents returned fire, one with his long gun and one with his pistol. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was shot with one bullet and died shortly after.”

Farting on campus: The new WMD

Apparently farting is now a punishable offense.

Student is suspended for...., that's right, ripping one.

"So after arriving and talking to the asst. principal it turns out my son is suspended on Monday due to…. flatulence. Yes, he farted and is now suspended. WTF.

Ok, it really happened like this: After changing out for P.E. he and his buddies are leaving the locker room, one of his friends stoops down to tie his shoe and my son swooped in and cracked one near his face… I’m still laughing at this… Apparently a sub teacher saw it and claimed the other kid ran out of the room humiliated.

In fact he took about 3 steps back and was laughing with his friends… This was last period of the day so no loss there. But really a full day suspension on Monday????

Needless to say, I called the District and you could tell he was trying not to laugh but said that we need to follow the appeal process and meet with the principal.

BTW, the other kid carpools with my son and got a ride home with my wife that day, they were playing Xbox that afternoon and night and they’re on the same AAU basketball team. We spoke with his mom and she’s shocked and will speak to the principal if necessary, she sees it for what it is, a kids joke on another."

And this is what a no-tolerance policy tastes like. LAME.

Finger Pointing: the ultimate fail

Suddenly the Media is Concerned About Tone

Via Redstate
Posted by Erick Erickson Last night on John King USA I tried very hard to keep my blood from boiling. Cornell Belcher, a very good guy, tried to claim that the right’s history of rhetoric is worse than the left’s.

I’ll meet you half way on that, just for the sake of argument, and say the left and right can at times be equally vile, but only for the sake of argument. But really, maybe the right’s history of rhetoric is greater if only because the left goes beyond rhetoric to outright violence.

And that’s the jumping off point here for the media. Because suddenly the media wants to talk about changing the political tone in this country — a tone the media itself has helped contribute to with its selective sensationalizing of subjects.

When Kos gloated over the deaths of Americans in Fallujah, the media wasn’t interested in changing the tone. When groups showed up outside Karl Rove’s house to protest, the media was not interested in changing the tone.

When SEIU protestors showed up on the front porch of a Bank of America Executive’s house, the media was not interested in changing the tone. When leftists attacked a military recruiting office, the media was not interested in changing the tone.

When arsonists burned down Sarah Palin’s church, the media was not interested in changing the tone. When rioters tried to burn down Seattle during a free trade summit, the media was not interested in changing the tone.

But when Jared Loughner, a mentally unstable Karl Marx reading registered independent whose friends described him as a leftist, guns down a Bush appointed federal judge and tries to take out a Congresswoman, suddenly the media is interested in changing the tone, but only because the tea party movement had something or other to do with something that didn’t have anything to do with Jared Loughner.

Oh yeah, the tea party movement won in November. That’s why we suddenly have to change the tone.

Alleged leaker Bradley Manning: hero to Berkeley?
Seriously? Yeah...Berkeley...the place that said no to going to war after Pearl Harbor. Hippies...they just stink.
